What To Expect With DIACOMIT1
Dosing
DIACOMIT comes in two strengths: 250 mg and 500 mg
Formulations
DIACOMIT is available in two convenient dosing forms: capsules or fruit-flavored powder for oral suspension
Timing
Give the prescribed dose around the same time each day for the best results. By tying it to a daily routine, you can avoid missing a dose
Storage
Both capsules and powder forms can be stored at room temperature (68°F – 77°F), making it easy to take DIACOMIT with you when you’re on the go
- DIACOMIT should be taken as prescribed by your loved one’s doctor and be taken with a meal
- If a dose is missed, DIACOMIT can be taken as soon as it’s remembered. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose
- Do not give two doses of DIACOMIT at the same time
Taking DIACOMIT With Other Medications
- It is common for doctors to prescribe multiple antiseizure medications at the same time, including other Dravet-specific treatments2
- DIACOMIT has no known
contraindications, but it is important to make sure that your loved one’s doctor is aware of all the medications or supplements that your loved one is taking1
