DIACOMIT® (stiripentol) is an effective, FDA-approved medication that was developed specifically to treat seizures associated with Dravet syndrome. It is indicated for patients 6 months and older (weighing 15 lb or more) taking clobazam. There are no clinical data to support the use of DIACOMIT as a monotherapy.1

Working With Our Specialty Pharmacy Partner

Biocodex has partnered with a national specialty pharmacy that will handle most of the process and deliver DIACOMIT directly to your door. Our partnership is designed to remove access barriers for you and your patients. Everyone has a role to play to help ensure that your patient gets the treatment they need in as fast as one week.

  • Up to 60-day fulfillment of DIACOMIT at no cost to the patient.
  • For newly eligible patients experiencing delays in gaining access to treatment.

  • Up to 60-day fulfillment of DIACOMIT at no cost to the patient.
  • For current patients with changes or lapses in their insurance coverage.

  • $0 copay per prescription.
  • For eligible patients with commercial insurance.
  • Not available for government plans such as Medicare or Medicaid.

Fax the following to the specialty pharmacy at 833-871-4137

  • A completed Patient Enrollment Form.

  • A copy of your patient’s insurance card (front and back).

  • A prescription with clear dosing and titration instructions.

  • List of your patient’s current medications.

  • Your patient’s medical records.

Tip: Ensure your patient’s chart has a Dravet diagnosis code:

  • Dravet syndrome (G40.83), polymorphic epilepsy in infancy (PMEI) or severe myoclonic epilepsy in infancy (SMEI)
  • Dravet syndrome, intractable, with status epilepticus (G40.833)
  • Dravet syndrome, intractable, without status epilepticus (G40.834)
